About this site

This is my personal corner of the internet — a place for me to write about the things I'm interested in, working on, learning about and genuinely enjoy.

You'll find a mix of cars, technology, projects, ideas and the occasional deep dive into something that catches my attention.

The site is intentionally a little different from a traditional blog. I'm not trying to publish something every day or chase whatever happens to be trending. I'd rather put something together when I actually have something worth saying.

Automotive

Cars are a big part of what I do.

I work in automotive in Wellington, currently with Armstrong's BAIC and ARCFOX on Kent Terrace. This site gives me a place to share my thoughts on the vehicles I come across, explain things from a buyer's perspective, and explore what makes different cars interesting.

You'll find reviews, guides, comparisons and plenty of practical information — particularly around the cars available here in New Zealand.

While I work in the industry, this is my personal website and not an official Armstrong's, BAIC or ARCFOX publication.

Technology & Projects

Outside of cars, I'm interested in technology, software, AI, automation and building things.

Some projects will be polished and finished.

Others probably won't be.

That's part of the point.

I'll use this site to document things I'm experimenting with, things I've learned, and projects that might be useful or interesting to someone else.

Why the site exists

The internet is increasingly full of content designed purely to get clicks.

I don't really want this to be another one of those sites.

I'd rather build somewhere that is useful, personal and genuinely interesting — whether you're here because you're researching your next car, looking at something I've built, or you've simply stumbled across something that caught your eye.

The site will evolve over time, and that's intentional.

Say hello

Got a project, a question, or just want to say hi? No unnecessary forms, no noise — just send a message and I'll get back to you.

Your information will only be used to respond to your message.

Stay in the loop

If you'd like to hear when I've published something new, you can subscribe and I'll send new posts directly to your inbox.

No constant emails. No unnecessary noise.

Just new things from the site when there's something worth sharing.

Thanks for stopping by.
